Ho yo travelers to Drawing Lance! This week I'm going to share some process images building up to the latest installment of this web comic. Ya know... for funsies.
Today, I want to show you the penciled version of the comic strip. All these strips start out as tiny thumbnail comics in a teeny weeny sketchbook I keep at my gaming table. As our plot progresses, I jot down gags and story. I redraw these thumbnails in Photoshop or Sketchbook pro, blocking out the balloons first to control composition. Voila! Tomorrow I'll post inks and some other fun art.
